Tuesday's big Internet rumor was that Bills wide receiver Terrell Owens could possibly be traded to the Chicago Bears.

The rumor appears to have begun on ESPN.com's NFL rumor page, the LA Times pointed out.

"The trade does make sense, but they call it a Rumors page for a reason," the Times writes.

"Owens, who signed a one-year deal with the Bills this offseason, has managed only 12 catches for 200 yards and a touchdown so far this year," writes Max Kienzler on BleacherReport.com.

He's one of the League's top wide receivers, but the star player seems to come with a cost:  With every team for which he's played professionally, he's known for controversial behavior on and off the field.

The Bears' current roser of wide receivers includes Devin Hester, Johnny Knox and Earl Bennett

What do you think?  Would a trade be good?  Who would you be willing to give up?  Sound off in the comments.
