Patrick Kane hails from Buffalo, N.Y., but now plays for the Chicago Blackhawks. Vancouver 2010 is a "totally different stage" for the 21-year-old, who is expected to play for the U.S. hockey team at the Winter Olympics.

No more Kane in the membrane?

Two days after photos surfaced of Kane and two Blackhawks players drinking shirtless in a limo in Vancouver, the star right-winger offered a non-apology apology for the event.

"I've had a couple if incidents, obviously," Kane said to reporters, referring to an incident last year involving a Buffalo cab driver. "It's something I'm going to have to learn. I'm 21 years old, but it's probably time to grow up a little bit."

Blackhawks right-winger Patrick Kane addresses photos of him and teammates shirtless inside a limo in Vancouver.

Patrick Kane, Kris Versteeg and John Madden were in the photos.

Kane said the photos weren't taken prior to Saturday night's 5-1 loss to the Canucks.

"For us, obviously, it's not the way we want to represent the team," Kane said. "It's been discussed internally with the team and it's been figured out inside this locker room."

The Blackhawks are vying with the Sharks for the top spot in the Western Conference.
