Holland, Rodon Say Goodbye to Quintana With Hilarious Duet

The Chicago White Sox traded away pitcher Jose Quintana on Thursday, and as the team started the second half of their season, two of the team's pitchers said goodbye in a heartwarming and hilarious way.

Those teammates, Carlos Rodon and Derek Holland, came into the clubhouse after their warm-ups on Friday and decided that the only way to properly send Quintana to his new team would be to sing him a song.

And they posted the duet, sung to the tune of "It's So Hard to Say Goodbye to Yesterday" by Boyz II Men, on Instagram:

"We wanted to have fun with him," Holland told reporters. "Once he left, me and Carlos talked and said we've got to do something. We've got to send him out in a good way, and made sure we had some fun with it."

Quintana was traded to the Chicago Cubs on Thursday morning, with top prospects Eloy Jimenez and Dylan Cease switching sides of town as part of the swap.
