Ha Ha Clinton-Dix Reportedly Signs With Bears

Clinton-Dix spent three and a half seasons with the Packers

The Chicago Bears lost safety Adrian Amos in free agency, but they’ve reportedly moved quickly to replace him, snagging former first round pick Ha Ha Clinton-Dix on a one-year contract.

Clinton-Dix, who was drafted by the Green Bay Packers out of Alabama in the first round of the 2014 NFL Draft, will make $3.5 million on the contract, according to multiple reports.

Last season, Clinton-Dix was traded midseason from the Packers to Washington, and he put up some strong numbers, intercepting three passes and defending six others on the season. He also had 93 tackles, his highest total since the 2015 campaign.

Now, Clinton-Dix will be reunited with former Alabama teammate Eddie Jackson in the Bears’ secondary, and he will hope to bring his pass coverage skills and speed to a group that forced a slew of turnovers a season ago.
