Joe Maddon Sets Cubs' Game 3 Lineup

After registering just seven hits in two games, the Chicago Cubs will try to get their bats going against the Los Angeles Dodgers on Tuesday night in Game 3 of the NLCS.

Outside of home runs by Albert Almora Jr. and Addison Russell, the Cubs have struggled to get anything going offensively against a talented Dodgers pitching staff, and manager Joe Maddon made some changes to his lineup to try to jumpstart the moribund hitting attack.

Here's how the Cubs will lineup Tuesday night:

1 Ben Zobrist - 2B

2 Kyle Schwarber - LF

Kris Bryant – 3B

4 Anthony Rizzo – 1B

Willson Contreras – C

6 Jon Jay - CF

Addison Russell – SS

8 Jason Heyward  - RF

9 Kyle Hendricks – P

For the first time this postseason, Bryant will not bat second, as he's continued to struggle against quality pitching in the playoffs. He is still in the lineup and batting third, but the Cubs will need better at-bats from their slugger.

Javier Baez is out of the lineup, as Maddon not only will look to get more lefties into the mix, but also is wary of Baez's 0-for-21 start to the postseason.

Kyle Schwarber also found his way back into the mix, moving all the way up to the second spot.

First pitch is scheduled for 8:01 p.m.
