Ball boys and ball girls are responsible for monitoring the out-of-play lines for right and left field and retrieving baseballs once they are designated foul by the base umpires. Attendants will rotate the responsibility of delivering new baseballs to the home plate umpire as necessary, the team said.

Though March 12, those interested can apply and submit of video sample at Cubs.CareerBuilder.com. The team will select 50 semifinalists to attend live tryouts at BASH Sports Academy in Chicago on March 19. A group of finalists will then travel to Mesa, Ariz. March 26-28 to perform the required job duties during Spring Training. The team’s final selections will be hired by March 30.
