Chicago Blackhawks Release 2017-18 Schedule

The Chicago Blackhawks announced their 2017-18 schedule on Thursday, and they’ll open the campaign with two straight home games as they take on the Pittsburgh Penguins and Columbus Blue Jackets.

The Blackhawks, who were swept out of the postseason in the first round, won’t have to deal with the hassle of a circus road trip this season, but they’ll still have a lengthy trip at the end of December as they have a six-game road trip that spans the American continent, going from New Jersey to Vancouver and to four cities in between.

The Blackhawks also have a six game home stand in mid-January, as they’ll welcome divisional rivals like Minnesota and Winnipeg, as well as long-time rival Detroit to the United Center.

Here is the team's full schedule:

Chicago will make two road trips to Las Vegas this season as they battle the brand new Vegas Golden Knights. They’ll make their first trip there on Oct. 24, and they’ll make a return trip on Feb. 13.

They’ll make their first trip down to Nashville to take on the Predators on Nov. 28, but they’ll welcome the defending Western Conference champions to the United Center on Oct. 27.
