Leonard Floyd Fined for Hits Against Miami Dolphins

Chicago Bears linebacker Leonard Floyd has been fined for a pair of hits he delivered during the team’s loss to the Miami Dolphins in Week 6.

Floyd was fined just over $30,000 for the hits, which were both flagged during the contest. He was fined just over $10,000 for body-slamming Dolphins wide receiver Danny Amendola during the game, and he was fined just over $20,000 for a roughing the passer penalty against Dolphins quarterback Brock Osweiler.

In five games this season, Floyd has 12 tackles this season and two defended passes. He has been dealing with a broken bone in his hand, and has been slowly healing from the injury throughout the year.
