The Chicago Bears are still looking for help at the safety position, and one of the guys that manned the spot for the team last season is reportedly heading to a division rival.
According to multiple reports, safety Adrian Amos has agreed to a contract with the Green Bay Packers. Amos, who was drafted by the Bears in the fifth round of the 2015 NFL Draft, registered a career high 73 tackles last season for Chicago, and also picked off a pair of passes and recovered a fumble as part of the high-flying Bears defense.
Financial terms of the deal have not yet been reported, according to NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport and Chicago Tribune’s Brad Biggs.

The Bears will now have to focus their attention on inking a safety to play alongside Eddie Jackson, but the market is shrinking with Landon Collins, Eric Weddle, and Kenny Vaccaro already signing elsewhere.
