If you're eager to find somewhere to watch the World Series this weekend, we've got your bases covered.
Head out to one of the many Chicago bars that will be showing this week's games. Here's a list of some of the best options offering drink and food specials with plenty of TVs.
Lakeview/Wrigleyville
Many bars around Wrigley Field have hefty cover charges during the World Series, and prices are sure to increase during home games. The Cubby Bear, located across the street from Wrigley, is charging $100 to watch the game.
John Barleycorn, 3524 N. Clark St., won't be charging a cover during away games. Doors open at 3 p.m. and tables are first come, first served. Tickets for Friday and Saturday's home games are $200 per person, which includes admission into the bar, one entree and appetizer and drinks from 7 p.m. to the 9th inning. The ticket does not guarantee seating.
Lincoln Park
State Restaurant & Bar is infamous for its array of screens: 124 televisions adorn the walls of the Lincoln Park establishment. The bar also has 100 beers on tap and a full menu. There will be no cover during the Series games, and they take reservations for larger groups.
Chicago Baseball
Downtown
Rockit in River North, 22 W. Hubbard St., will be showing all World Series games. The restaurant is attempting to quell the Billy Goat curse by offering goat burgers paired with Old Style tall boys. Order a burger during the 7th inning stretch and it'll only cost you $1.908 -- the last year the Cubs won a World Series.
Hopsmith, 15 W. Division St., offers a seemingly endless array of TV screens and a covered rooftop for post-game celebrations. Doors open at 5 p.m. and they take reservations.
The Scout Waterhouse + Kitchen, 1301 S. Wabash Ave., in the South Loop will also be playing all World Series games with sound on their TVs.
North Center/Irving Park
Old Irving Brewing, 4419 W. Montrose Ave., opened its doors just in time to host fans during the World Series games. The beer hall will add a giant projection screen with sound during this week's games.
Fans can also catch the Cubs at Rocks Northcenter, 4138 N. Lincoln Ave. The pub has 12 TVs making it a prime location for watching the games. Regular weeknight food and drinks specials will not be in effect during the World Series run, however.
Rogers Park/Edgewater
Bar 63, 6341 N. Broadway, offers unobstructed views of their many TVs. Cozy up in a booth or shoot a game of pool while watching the Cubs take on the Indians.
Wicker Park
The Boundary, 1932 W. Division St., fits upwards of 100 people and has 26 flat-screens, including several high-top tables for ample standing room. On game days, seating is first-come, firts-served, with no reservations accepted.
The Anthem, 1725 W. Division St., will offer $17 domestic buckets and a $6 beer and shot special throughout the Series. Thirteen televisions will be playing the World Series games on surround sound. Reservations are requested.
West Loop/Near West Side
The Ogden, 659 W. Ogden in the West Loop, is known for sporting 70-inch TVs. The sports bar is taking reservations for all World Series games.
Joe's, 940 W. Weed St., features 120 plasma-screen TVs and high-definition projection TVs. The infamous venue has left its calendar open for the Cubs' World Series run, and is now taking reservations for its available tables.
Blackhawks fan flock to WestEnd, located at 1326 W. Madison St., but the bar has opened its doors to baseball fans during the Series. Thirty-three plasma TVs are spread throughout the bar, which has a state of the art sound system and 15 beers on tap.
Logan Square
Logan Bar & Grill, 2230 N. California Ave., has multiple TVs where it will be showing Series games throughout the week. The bar also has an extensive beer list and a menu full of pub food like nachos and burgers.
The Logan Theater, 2646 N. Milwaukee Ave., is giving fans the chance to watch all World Series games on a seriously big screen. Free showings will begin Oct. 25 at 7 p.m. and tickets will be given out on a first-come, first-served basis.
The South Side
Buffalo Wings & Rings, 3434 S. Halsted St., features an endless list of beer and bar food. The Bridgeport restaurant also has giant televisions in every room, making it one of the best spots to catch the games.
Dingers Sports Bar, 10638 S. Western Ave., is offering a $20 all-you-can-drink special during all Cubs games. The bar is also offering $10 domestic buckets and $3 UV bombs Sunday through Thursday.
