Police continue to investigate the fatal accident involving Cleveland Browns wide receiver Donte Stallworth.

A shocking video shows Miami police giving NFL star Donte Stallworth a field sobriety test on Saturday while paramedics rush to revive the pedestrian he struck and killed in the background.

In the video, posted on YouTube, police test the Cleveland Browns wide receiver after his Bentley hit Mario Reyes, who lays lifeless on the ground, surrounded by rescue workers.

Reyes, 59, a crane operator, had just finished the graveyard shift and was trying to catch the bus home near the end of the MacArthur Causeway near South Beach, just after 7 a.m. Saturday when he was hit.

The police investigation is ongoing, and Stallworth was tested for drugs and alcohol. The test results could come back within a few days.

Reyes' family was notified after he arrived at the hospital and told only that "there had been an accident."

"When we got there, it was too late," Reyes' brother-in-law, Francisco Fajardo, said. "He was gone."

Fajardo described Reyes as a hard-working family man.

"He spent all his free time with his family," Fajardo said. "He was on his way home."

Reyes, who leaves behind his wife of almost 20 years, Catalina, and a 15-year-old daughter, Daniela, had worked all night at his job with the shipping company Bernuth Agencies, not far from where the crash occurred.

Reyes' wife and daughter were too distraught to speak Sunday. "Our family is in shock," Fajardo said. "They don't really want to talk."

Police would not say where Stallworth was coming from or where he was headed.
