Olazábal made his Ryder Cup debut aged 21 in 1987. He was also Sir Nick Faldo’s Vice Captain at the 2008 Ryder Cup at Valhalla Golf Club in Kentucky. He became the second Spaniard to be inducted into the World Golf Hall of Fame. He has won 23 European Tour titles, four US PGA Tour titles and two in Japan. He has finished 1st on the PGA Tour 6 times.
