"I've been traded?!? Where??"

Nick Swisher was supposed to bring excitement and enthusiasm to the White Sox clubhouse.  Instead he's going to bring a journeyman and two minor league prospects.

The White Sox dealt Nick Swisher to the Yankees today for infielder Wilson Betemit and right-handed pitchers Jeff Marquez and Jhonny Nunez from the New York Yankees.  The White Sox also included right-handed pitcher Kanekoa Texeira.

Swisher, 27, batted .219 (109-497) with 24 home runs, 69 RBI, 86 runs scored and 82 walks in 153 games last season, his first with the White Sox.  He was acquired from Oakland on January 3, 2008.
