The Chicago Blackhawks's national anthem singer told DNAinfo.com that the shattered goblet and beer mugs were actually triggered by a radio transmitter in his coat, not by the high notes during his rendition of "Take Me Out to the Ballgame."
Cornelison says the stunt was planned and was surprised the story took off like wildfire, expecially since he admitted the trick behind the shattered glass on a radio show.
