Midday Stampede: Gar Forman's Back Against the Wall

Cash strapped Bulls have little to no felxibility to make significant moves this summer

The Chicago Bulls and General Manager Gar Forman are in a bind. They have a decision to make on whether or not to match the Houston Rockets offer to Omer Asik. They also have to decide on whether or not to bring back Kyle Korver, Ronnie Brewer and C.J. Watson.

With the New Jersey Nets trying to load up and win the NBA Championship next season, and with Derrick Rose not coming back as his normal self until the season after, the Bulls front office will continue to be lambasted by fans for a lack of creativity in trying to acquire players that will get them to and keep them at a championship level.

It's only July, but looking around the NBA at the deals that are being made, it appears it's going to be a long summer in Chicago.
