Keith, Hjalmarsson to Make Preseason Debuts Against St. Louis Blues

Fresh off of a 5-1 win over the Montreal Canadiens on Friday, the Chicago Blackhawks will look to grab their third victory of the preseason Saturday as they welcome the St. Louis Blues to the United Center.

When the Hawks hit the ice, they will have a lineup that will feature several stars appearing in their first game of the preseason. Duncan Keith will make his preseason debut for the Blackhawks after sitting out for the first three contests. Niklas Hjalmarsson will not only make his debut as well, but he will also skate alongside Keith on the team’s top defensive pairing.

The Blackhawks will also welcome Jonathan Toews, Marian Hossa and Patrick Kane back into the lineup after the trio sat out the pair of road games the team has played this week as the preseason has gotten underway.

Kane will skate on a line with Ryan Garbutt and Artem Anisimov on Saturday night, and Toews and Hossa will be joined by Andrew Shaw on the top line.

The third line will see Vincent Hinostroza centering preseason star Kyle Baun, who is making a huge push to make the roster with several stellar performances, and Bryan Bickell. The fourth line will have Tanner Kero at center, with Brandon Mashinter and Ryan Hartman on the wings.

Brent Seabrook will also slot back into the lineup for the Blackhawks, skating with Trevor van Riemsdyk on the second defensive pairing, and Lubomir Visnovsky will once again skate for the Hawks as he plays with Cameron Schilling on the third pairing.
