Jeff Jordan will put his Illinois jersey back on this season.
Jeff Jordan will be wearing Illini orange and blue again.
The oldest son of Michael Jordan has returned to play on the Illinois basketball team, according to the Chicago Tribune.
Coach Bruce Weber told the paper the junior decided he's ready to re-dedicate himself to the team after taking last season off to focus on his academic work.
"Jeff recently indicated his interest in coming back to the team," Weber told the Tribune. "We are pleased to give him this opportunity. He has a lot of work ahead of him. His focus needs to be on his academic work and catching up to his teammates in practice."
Jordan turned down scholarships at Valparaiso and Loyola Universities to walk on at the University of Illinois.
