In this Monday edition of Hawks Headlines, we take a look at a Chicago Blackhawks legend who will enter the Hockey Hall of Fame later today, which special guest was front and center at Brad Richards’ 1000th career NHL game on Sunday night and what former Hawks winger Eric Daze has been up to lately.
-We start out with broadcaster Pat Foley, who after 32 years behind the microphone will head into the Hockey Hall of Fame on Monday as he accepts the Foster Hewitt Memorial Award. Despite having to be in Toronto for the ceremony, Foley insisted on broadcasting Sunday’s victory over the Dallas Stars, saying there was “no chance” he was going to miss the game. [NHL.com]
