Playing professional basketball for 13 years earned Antoine Walker a reported $110 million, but the former NBA star has bills piling up.
The Chicago native appeared in Cook County court Thursday morning for allegedly not paying his youngest daughter's child support and tuition, according to the Chicago Tribune.
Walker filed for bankruptcy in May 2010, and because of that, a Circuit Court judge said no actions could be taken at the moment.
In his bankruptcy filing, Walker reported having $3.4 million in assets and $12.7 million in liabilities. Walker's NBA championship ring, which was included in the list of assets, valued at $6,000.
According to records provided by his daughter's mother, Donna Grant, Walker owes $27,817 to the University of Chicago Laboratory School for his daughter's tuition, according to the Tribune. In addition, he has not made his monthly child support payments of $4,195 in more than two years, Grant told the Tribune.
A federal judge will determine if the court proceedings can continue while he is still in bankruptcy court.
This is not the first time Walker has been faced with financial trouble, however. In November 2009, he agreed to pay more than $900,000 to settle bad check charges at Las Vegas casinos and avoid trial on felony criminal charges.

Walker, 35, was a three-time all-star with the Boston Celtics. He won the NBA championship with the Miami Heat in 2006. Walker retired in 2008.
