Could this man be our next governor?
While Blago isn't even out of office yet, a new, mustachioed candidate for the state's top job may be emerging.
It's the same man who gave us unforgettable quotes like “if God had wanted man to play soccer, He wouldn't have given us arms,” and "if things came easy, then everybody would be great at what they did."

A new Web site, DaGovernor.com, is trying to push Mike Ditka into a run for Illinois governor.
We're not sure whether they're serious, or if the site is just an excuse to sell kitschy T-shirts and coffee mugs. Either way, it might not be such a bad idea. Surely one of the few men to both play in and coach Super Bowl victories would do better at running a state than, say, a former action movie star.
