Cubs Dropping Some Ticket Prices

Season ticket holders to pay a little less after team loses 101 games

Prepare to pay less to watch bad baseball next summer.

The Chicago Cubs, losers of 101 games this season, have announced plans to reduce ticket prices in 2013 for season ticket holders.

Season tickets will drop 2 percent and Wrigley Field bleacher tickets will drop an average of 10 percent.

Hanging out in the bleachers at high-demand games will cost you $69 instead of $78, and there'll be seven fewer of those games on the schedule. The cheapest bleachers ticket will cost $19 for regular games.

The Cubs drew 2,882,756 this season, the first time the team finished with less than 3 million at home since 2003.
