Bulls to Open 2015-16 Season at Home vs. Cavaliers

The Cavaliers beat the Bulls in six games during the 2015 playoffs

The Chicago Bulls will get a playoff rematch for their opening night game for the 2015-16 season, battling the Cleveland Cavaliers at the United Center on October 27.

The game, which was first reported by K.C. Johnson of the Chicago Tribune, will be a rematch of last season’s Eastern Conference Semi-final matchup, which the Cavaliers took in six games. Even without Kyrie Irving and Kevin Love in the series, LeBron James was able to lead his team to victory over the Bulls, who were beset by rumored infighting between Jimmy Butler and Derrick Rose as they once again failed to beat James in a series.

The Bulls also found out that they will be once again playing on Christmas Day, with a road game scheduled against the Oklahoma City Thunder for the holiday. The Bulls played on Christmas during the 2014-15 season, pounding the Los Angeles Lakers by a score of 113-93 in a romp at the United Center.

The Bulls did find out one other game on their docket as well, with a road game against the Dallas Mavericks scheduled for December 26.

The team will find out their full schedule on Wednesday evening.
