Bulls Release 2012-2013 Schedule

Bulls to play on Christmas Day at home against the Houston Rockets

The NBA released the 2012-2013 schedules for all 30 teams on Thursday evening, and the Chicago Bulls will open the season at the United Center on Halloween night against the Sacramento Kings.

The Bulls will also get their first look at Omer Asik in a Houston Rockets uniform as they play hosts on Christmas Day in a nationally televised game on ESPN . It's the first time the Bulls have played on Christmas at home since the 1997-1998 season.

Other highlights of the season include home games against the Western Conference champion Oklahoma City Thunder on November 8th and their rivals, the NBA Champion Miami Heat on February 21st and March 27th.

The Bulls are scheduled to appear on national TV a total of 26 times, a far cry from the 48 nationally televised contests the team appeared in last season. Derrick Rose and his torn ACL obviously played a part in the NBA's decision to reduce the number of times the Bulls will appear in their marquee telecasts.

The complete Bulls schedule is posted on Bulls.NBA.com.
