Bears Rookie Heads to Pro Bowl

Move over Percy, here comes Johnny

Chicago Bears' rookie Johnny Knox is heading to the Pro Bowl.

The speedy wide receiver will return kicks for the NFC in Miami next weekend, and make for the only Bear on the squad.

Knox, a fifth-round pick from Abilene Christian University is replacing Minnesota Vikings' Percy Harvin, who passed up the invitation because he's hurt, according to ESPN Chicago.

The coaching staff will decide later if Knox will hit the field as a wide receiver.

Knox returned 32 kickoffs for 927 yards this year -- including a 102-yard score against Detroit on Oct. 4.

The smurf reciever becomes the first Bears rookie named to the Pro Bowl since Devin Hester in 2006.

The AFC-NFC match-up airs from Miami Sunday, the first time the game has been held before the Super Bowl.
