Republican Gov. Bruce Rauner and Democratic challenger J.B. Pritzker were slated to debate once again on Wednesday, just under two weeks after they squared off in the first televised forum on NBC 5 and Telemundo Chicago.
Both Pritzker and Rauner took part in the Sept. 20 forum with Libertarian Kash Jackson and Conservative Sam McCann, but this time around, it will be just the two major-party candidates looking to score points and deflect attacks.
The first forum turned vicious quickly, with all four candidates trading barbs amid an already contentious and expensive race.
