Randy White, Republican candidate for lieutenant governor, is visiting conservative churches and organizations to gather support for his second run for office.
The former write-in candidate in 2006 is an advocate for Second Amendment rights, tax reform, local jobs, education reform, veteran care and honesty in politics.
Before deciding to work in politics full-time, White was an active member in two churches as a pastor. According to his campaign message, White believes he was called to a political life by God.
He received a Bachelor's of Science degree from St. Louis Christian College in 1998; majoring in Christian Ministry. He has worked with the Illinois State Police Academy, the National Guard Enduring Families program in Iowa, as well as 9/11 and Sri Lanka tsunami victims.
His highest priority is to end corruption in Illinois politics.
