Quinn Not Worried About Cohen Running

Gov. Pat Quinn said he's not worried pawn broker Scott Lee Cohen might try a run for governor as an independent.

Cohen is considering a bid after quitting as the Democratic nominee in the lieutenant governor's race amid questions about his past, including accusations he held a knife to his girlfriend's throat. Cohen has denied that.

Quinn said it's a free country and Cohen is welcome to try to collect the necessary signatures to get on the ballot. The Chicago Democrat said he's not worried Cohen could siphon away some of his support.
