Illinois Races: Patricia Bird for 10th Congressional District

Patricia Bird (R) is running for U.S. Congress 10th District. The 10th District has been in moderate Republican hands for a long time but has always been viewed as a swing district.

In late November, Patricia Bird announced she is no longer running for office.

Patricia Bird's campaign bio included a shout to her small business. She says she owns Political Page, but it's not quite clear what that business is.

She was campaigning for Mark Kirk's 10th District Congressional seat.

Bird is a graduate of Northern Illinois University, where she majored in Economics and Public Administration.

"My reasons for running for U.S. Congress include an innate passion to help people and a strong commitment to make a positive contribution and serve in government," she said.
