Illinois Races: Jim Dodge for Comptroller

"It's your money"

Jim Dodge, Republican candidate for Illinois Comptroller, is currently serving his sixth term as Orland Park Village Trustee.

In 1989, at the age of 26, Dodge was the youngest elected official in the history of the town.  He has been on the Metra board as a director since 2004, where he worked on the $1 billion transit agency's website to make it more user-friendly.

Dodge graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Depaul University's Honors Program.  He also has an MBA from the University of Chicago, with concentrations in Finance and Economics.  The former Illinois National Guard Sergeant is currently a vice president at a $4 billion global marketing information company, which provides information technology consulting to Fortune 500 companies.

Republican values that promote lower taxes, a business-friendly environment and less government intrusion are at the foundation of his campaign.
