"Moving Illinois Forward" is Dennis Cook's campaign slogan in the 2010 Lieutenant Gov. race.  In his campaign message, Cook directs attention to core Republican values and budget concerns and says he will work against the cycle of political scandal and corruption.  With a $3 million surplus within his district, Cook plans fix the state's budget crisis by living within the state's budget.

At age 27, he was the youngest-ever District 230 Board of Education President -- working with nearly 10,000 students and an annual budget of over $135 million.

"It is time for a new generation of leaders here in Illinois -- and I want to be one of those leaders," said Cook, an Orland Park resident.
