Illinois Races: Dan Seals for 10th Congressional District

    Dan Seals (D) is running for U.S. Congress 10th District.

    Democrat Dan Seals, a Hyde Park native, began his career teaching English to high school students in Japan.  He received his Master's degree in International Economics and Japan Studies from the Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies.

    Later, he served as an Aide to the Assistant Secretary of Commerce and as an Economics Fellow in the U.S. Senate, according to his campaign site.

    He holds an M.B.A. from the University of Chicago and went on to work as a manager for Sprint and then as a Director of Marketing at GE Capital.

    Seals now lives in Wilmette.
