Biden Hosts Fund-Raiser Lunch Monday in Chicago

A downtown Chicago hotel is the site of the latest local presidential campaign fund-raiser

With less than 100 days before the presidential election, Vice President Joe Biden returns to President Barack Obama's home base for a fund-raising lunch.

Biden will hold a re-election luncheon Monday at a downtown hotel, a campaign official told the Chicago Tribune. Tickets for the event cost $500, to be divided among the president's campaign, the Democratic National Committee and more.

Biden last hosted a Chicago fundraising lunch in June following a weekend wedding for Valerie Jarrett's daughter.

Biden and wife Jill hosted the event at Chicago Cut Steakhouse, at 300 N. LaSalle, alongside Steve Cohen, Thomas Hart and Sandy Stein. Tickets cost $5,000 to $10,000 to attend.
