Police: Woman Cuts Neighbor Over Dog Droppings

Annapolis police say a woman cut her neighbor with a large kitchen knife after an argument over dog droppings.

It happened about 6:30 p.m. on Tyler Avenue. Police say a woman asked her boyfriend to ask the neighbor to clean up dog droppings that the woman believed had been left by the neighbor's dog.

Officers say the neighbor denied that the droppings were from her dog and an argument broke out.

Police say the woman went into her home, came back out with a knife and swung it at the neighbor, who received a small cut on her hand.

The Capital of Annapolis reports that 36-year-old Tameka Wright was arrested and charged with assault and other offenses.
