Magnitude-3.3 Quake Rattles City of Cudahy

A preliminary magnitude-3.3 earthquake struck the city of Cudahy on Wednesday night, according to the U.S. Geological Survey.

The temblor struck at 11:39 p.m. about 10 miles southeast of downtown Los Angeles, the USGS said.

There were no immediate reports of injuries or damages.

The quake was felt throughout the Southland, including Long Beach, North Hollywood, Glendale and Buena Park.

"Felt it in Pasadena and it felt like someone jumping upstair," Ashly Cheang posted to the NBCLA Facebook page.

"At first I thought it was my roommate opening her closet, I heard a rumble then I felt the jolt," a viewer in Whittier said.
