Grocery Chain Workers Call for Boycott to Get Their Fired CEO Back

Shoppers at Market Basket grocery stores in Massachusetts were met by cashiers, store associates and other employees urging them not to give the company their business until they reinstate their fired CEO, New England Cable News reported. Employees hope directors allied with Arthur S. Demoulas will reinstate his hated cousin, Arthur T. Demoulas, whom Arthur S. succeeded in having fired as CEO last month after decades of bitter feuding. The board of directors will hold a meeting on Friday that may address the controversy. Read »
