After Police Shootings, Obama Addresses “Racism”

President Barack Obama has spoken more bluntly in recent months about racial discrimination in America, openly discussing "racism" after using the term sparingly during the early years of his presidency. "The president has essentially changed his racial rhetoric...from cultural critiques of African-Americans to his actually saying the word 'racism,'" said a Georgetown Law professor and civil rights expert. Obama's recent comments have attracted criticism from conservatives like former New York Mayor Rudy Giuliani, who said, "We've had four months of propaganda, starting with the president, that everybody should hate the police."
