Mid-Air Trouble: Why Off-Course Plane Couldn't Stop

Investigators on Saturday were trying to piece together clues left behind in the wreckage of a plane that was steered by a unresponsive pilot and crashed off the coast of Jamaica Friday afternoon. Rochester, New York, real estate developer Larry Glazer and his wife were the only two on board and U.S. Air Force fighter pilots tracking the plane saw the pilot was breathing, even though he wasn't responding to communications. Medical and aviation experts told NBC News that indicated that either the pilot had fallen victim to a medical emergency or that his plane suffered a loss of cabin pressure leading to deprivation of oxygen causing hypoxia.
