Zenon Sykuta Elementary School in Country Club Hills was closed to students Friday.
"Due to vandalism, our school building is closed for cleaning," a spokeswoman said on an outgoing message. "We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience to our students and their families."
There was no information about the type of vandalism or where it was in the school, at 4301 W. 180th St.
Sykuta employees were told to report to Southwood Middle School.
