Yoan Moncada Leaves Chicago White Sox Game With Injury

Moncada suffered the injury in the fifth inning of Saturday's game

Chicago White Sox star Yoan Moncada was forced to leave Saturday's game against the Kansas City Royals due to an injury.

Moncada, who is batting .231 with 11 home runs and 40 RBI this season, was forced to leave the game with a bruised right knee, the White Sox said. X-rays on the knee were negative.

Moncada was going for a pick-off throw at second base from pitcher Reynaldo Lopez when the injury occurred. He was helped off the field by trainers.

The Chicago White Sox have one of the most loaded farm systems in all of baseball, and several of these stars could end up on the South Side this season!
