Woman Suffers Lacerations, Lost Teeth After Brutal Attack in West Loop

A woman suffered multiple lacerations and even lost teeth after she was brutally attacked by four women on Sunday morning in the West Loop.

According to Chicago police, they were called to a criminal sexual assault in the 100 block of North Riverside Plaza just after 5 a.m. Sunday morning. When they arrived on the scene, they found firefighters treating a 49-year-old woman.

The woman then told police that she hadn’t been the victim of a sexual assault, but had instead been severely beaten by at least four women.

Police say the woman was followed by the perpetrators after she left her house, and that after a short walk they began to attack her, causing multiple lacerations, cuts, bruises, and lost teeth.

There are no suspects in custody, and police are continuing to investigate the case.
