A Rogers Park woman was struck and killed by a snow-plow equipped truck as the driver reversed into a driveway Tuesday afternoon.

Yuliya Polzikova, 71, of the 1200 block of West Morse Avenue, was pronounced dead at Saint Francis Hospital in Evanston just before 3 p.m.

She was struck about an hour earlier as she was walking about a block from her home.  The driver of a Chevy Silverado -- equipped with a snow plow -- reversed into a driveway and struck her, police said.

The incident was not a hit-and-run, but the unidentified driver of the truck is expected to be cited.

The truck was not owned by the city.

An autopsy for Polzikova is scheduled for Wednesday.

The police Major Accidents Investigation Unit is investigating.
