Family, Pets Displaced in Villa Park Fire

    A Villa Park family and their three pets were displaced after a Monday night house fire.

    Crews were called to a home near East Park Boulevard and South Monterey Avenue in the western suburb at about 10:30 p.m.

    Firefighters quickly put out the fire and were seen carrying out two cats and one dog from the home.

    No injuries were reported and there was no information by 5:30 a.m. Tuesday as to a cause for the fire.
