It's all part of a plan to hire about 100,000 seasonal Target workers across the country, plus 4,500 for distribution centers and fulfillment facilities. About 3,500 of those jobs will be at stores across Illinois.

"We look forward to meeting thousands of candidates in communities across the country this weekend at local hiring events,” said Janna Potts, Target's chief stores officer. "The busy holiday season also brings opportunities for current team members to add extra work hours to their schedule, which they’ve told us is important to them."
