Thursday Marks Three Years in Search for Stacy Peterson

Bolingbrook mother of two disappeared Oct. 28, 2007

Thursday marks three years since the disappearance of Bolingbrook mother Stacy Peterson.

Hundreds of searches, including two this past summer, have failed to yield any clues about what happened to her.

Her husband, former police officer Drew Peterson, is a suspect in her disappearance.  He is currently in jail, awaiting trial on charges he killed his third wife, Kathleen Savio.

Drew Peterson maintains that Stacy left him for another man, but the case has been classified a "potential homicide" and remains active, the Bolingbrook Sun reported.
