Salt Truck Overturns in NW Indiana

A snow-related accident dumped 22 tons of rock salt on Interstate 80 Tuesday morning.

A snow-related accident dumped 22 tons of rock salt on Interstate 80 Tuesday morning.

Two trucks and two cars piled into each other after one of them lost control between Cline and Kennedy avenues in Northwest Indiana.

The salt was headed to Mishiwaka, Ind., just east of South Bend.

There were no reports of injuries.
