Mayor Daley Joins Twitter

On the heels the city's web site relaunch, Mayor Daley has joined microblogging service Twitter.
Active for four days, @MayorDaley has slightly less than 800 followers and has tweeted four times: once to announce the city's new web site, once to advertise the St. Pat's Day Parade, once concerning CHA's Choose to Own Program, and once to reassure followers that yes, this is Mayor Daley's account.
Whether Daley himself is tweeting is unknown -- though as HuffPo points out (via a link to the New Yorker's recent profile), Daley's not so good at even sending emails.
The mayor's press office did not immediately return calls for comment.
As for @MayorDaley's network, the feed is following ten accounts, most notably @Oprah, @whitesox, and @BarackObama.
Of those, Obama is following Daley, but not the Sox or Oprah.
