A nationwide arrest warrant was issued Wednesday for a man police believe is connected with the explosive materials found in a Matteson home last week.
Michael Dorosz, 19, is believed to have fled the state. He is charged with unlawful use of a weapon.
Dorosz’s half-sister, Felicia West, was arrested and charged with felony unlawful use of weapon, misdemeanor child endangerment and misdemeanor animal cruelty when police found West and her five-year-old child in a trailer home with 300 pounds of explosive materials. She will face court in July.
Police say Dorosz was arrested for possession of fireworks for a separate incident in May. He pled guilty and was fined $250.
