Welcome to Terror Town

AP

There is an actual, honest-to-god place in the City of Chicago known as Terror Town.

Lestine Byars is blunt about it as she stands on the corner of 71st and Jeffrey every morning before school:

"I’m out here out of love and I pray for them out loud.  That’s the only thing that moves kids from spot 'A' to spot 'B' away from the corners where I don’t want them to be.  I call the name of Jesus.  I say in Jesus name, I say move."

Fearlessly and without apology, Ms. Byars is getting in the face of gangbangers and trying to save children.

Welcome to Terror Town.
