A 64-year-old man was struck and killed while crossing a street on Sunday night.
The man was crossing the street in the 5200 block of West Fullerton at approximately 10:02 p.m. when he was struck by a white SUV traveling at a high rate of speed, according to police.
The white SUV then continued eastbound on Fullerton before turning northbound on Laramie as it fled the scene.
The victim was pronounced dead at the scene, according to police. His identity has not yet been released.
Police are still investigating.
