Authorities said the same offender exposed himself to someone on two separate occasions several months apart

Police are searching for a man who exposed himself near a day care on Chicago’s Northwest Side.

Authorities said the same offender exposed himself to someone on two separate occasions several months apart.

Both incidents occurred near the intersection of North and California avenues in the city’s Logan Square neighborhood, according to a community alert from Chicago police.

The most recent incident took place around 10:18 a.m. on Sept. 15.

That same man also exposed himself in the area sometime between May 22 and June 22 earlier this year, an event that was previously unreported until the man showed up again last week, according to police.

The offender was described as a Hispanic man, thought to be between 30 and 35 years old.

He stands at approximately 5’8”, according to police, weighing around 180 pounds. He had dark hair with a full mustache and beard, authorities said, and was most recently seen wearing a red T-shirt with dark blue jeans.

No one is in custody as authorities continue to investigate.
